More often than not chewing gum seems to find its self on our streets, Gumdrop Ltd have come up with a way to make chewing gum useful, they are the first company in the world to recycle chewing gum into a new polymer called Gum-tec®.

Gumdrop Ltd recycle all types of chewing gum waste from chewed gum coming from the Gumdrop bins and the Gumdrop On-the go, as well as working together with manufacturers to provide a zero waste to landfill alternative for gum manufacturers wishing to lower or eliminate their waste gum output. This is then recycled and put through a new process in order to create a range of new compositions for use in the plastics and rubber industry.

For the past year Gumdrop Ltd have asked people they have met what they would like their gum to become? Working together with promotional product companies within the UK, Gumdrop Ltd have manufactured their favourite suggestions and are very excited to launch a range of new products.

Gum-tec® Rulers, Lunchboxes, Frisbees, Combs, Guitar Picks, Door Stops, Meal Mates & Bicycle Spokeys, with many more to come. The products are both a fantastic display of what you can get back when you recycle as well as a great demonstration of the possibilities that surround waste chewing gum. They would make the perfect addition to any student shop, event, workplace, or home. If you are interested in purchasing any of the Gum-tec® products please e-mail gumtec@gumdropltd.com for a quote.

The future’s green with a drop of pink.
