Gumdrop Ltd is coming to Notting Hill Carnival!
We are very excited to announce that on the 31st of August we will be at London’s biggest annual carnival in west London. We are working together with Suez and The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to reduce gum litter at this years Notting Hill Carnival.
For this years Carnival goers we have created a billboard with the well-known Bob Marley on it. He will be #gummin and wearing an accessory which the crowd can reveal by sticking their gum onto the white crosses. This is a fun-loving activity that prevents chewing gum being thrown on the ground, saving the council thousands of pounds, as well as saving our streets from the unsightly white splodges. There will also be a second board with Usain Bolt on it. He will have a different item that can be revealed. Make sure you come and stick your gum on the board so that we carry out #Boltrecycling with your used chewing gum. If your wondering where your gum goes after Carnival then think no further. Your gum along with the billboards will be recycled into the very image you have helped reveal. A big thanks to you for helping to create a cleaner, greener Notting Hill.
If that’s not enough, as a thank you for recycling your chewing gum we shall be giving out our newest products, the Gum-tec® Yo-Yo and Gum-tec® whistle. Last year over a million people attended the carnival so don’t miss out, get yourself to Notting Hill for the biggest, liveliest party of the year.
It’s going to be Gumtastic!
